Self-evaluation will help Community Sport projects understand more clearly the factors around increasing participation in sports and physical activity across the population.

By helping projects understand and undertake effective self-evaluation it will:

  • Help projects continually improve what they do;
  • Help track strategic progress more clearly; and
  • Show the value of physical activity to government and the wider
    community.

Supporting all projects to introduce effective management information (or self-evaluation) systems will have several benefits for projects.

  • To find out what works and what doesn't.
  • To show that you should get future funding.
  • To report to your communities.
  • To provide aftercare to your customers.
  • To keep focused on your purpose.

This section of the website provides some practical documents, techniques and tools that you can use as part of monitoring your project. Please use the tabs above to find out more.
